homer and Trevor Plouffe added a two-run shot to help the Twins take down

Twins put Doumit on DL with strained calf
(Detroit, MI) -- 05-17-2012-- The Twins placed catcher Ryan Doumit (DOH-mitt) on the
15-day disabled list with a right calf strain. Doumit suffered the injury
during last night's 11-7 win over Detroit. Doumit drove in a run in the
victory and had been hitting .264 on the season with five home runs and 24

Morneau activated, Parmelee optioned to Triple-A
(Minneapolis, MN) --05-16-2012-- Twins first baseman Justin Morneau will be activated
from the 15-day disabled list prior to today's game against the Tigers.
Morneau has been sidelines since May 1st due to a wrist injury. Minnesota
optioned Chris Parmelee to Triple-A to make room on the roster. First-pitch
