Here’s a rare opportunity to be part of the team at a family-owned station!
KQIC-FM (Q102), a 100,000 watt family-owned Hot AC station in Willmar, MN is now accepting applications for an overnight announcer/online content contributor

DUTIES:
This position requires quality prep of relevant content that relates to our audience on-air and online. On-air weekdays from midnight to 6 am on KQIC and voice tracking on sister station. Other duties include: copy writing, production, creating and adding daily content to station websites to set up for morning shows, program loading, promotional appearances, maintaining web blog, and other duties as assigned. Regular hours will be 9 pm – 6 am Sunday through Friday morning and holidays

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must relate to the audience, stay aware of current events, have outgoing personality, be a self-starter, creative, professional, with natural sounding Midwestern dialect and delivery. Must have computer skills, strong organizational and communication skills and a working knowledge of web and social media networking sources. Digital editing experience preferred. Good attendance is a must.

EDUCATION:
High school diploma, secondary education preferred, broadcast experience preferred

COMPENSATION:
based on experience
